We’re Living the Prayer We Once Whispered
There was a day—not too long ago—when we prayed with our whole hearts for the chance to travel the world, work side-by-side, build something meaningful, and impact people’s lives for the Kingdom. We didn’t have a roadmap, we didn’t have guarantees, and we certainly didn’t have the resources.
But we had a dream.
A whisper.
A God-sized desire.
What started as a quiet longing turned into a plan.
The plan became a strategy.
The strategy required risk.
And the risk became our reality.
Today, when I sit still long enough, I can see it clearly:
We are living inside the prayer we once begged God for in the middle of the night.
The Burden of the Blessing
It’s funny how blessings can feel heavy when you’re carrying them every day.
Running businesses, leading teams, employing 80+ people, showing up for communities, building dreams—sometimes the weight of the assignment makes you forget to recognize the miracle of it.
Sometimes we get so caught up working the burden of the blessing that we forget to notice:
“I’m standing in the middle of the very thing I once cried out to God for.”
This is where realignment happens—
In the quiet.
In the pause.
In the breath between seasons.
Because even when the blessing feels heavy, it is still a blessing.
God Has Been Fleshing Out the Journey All Along
Every step felt like a stretch.
Every leap felt like faith.
Every season required surrender.
But truthfully?
God had already begun fleshing out this path long before we arrived.
If He authored the beginning, He will carry the next chapter.
The dream has grown.
Our vision has expanded.
The calling has intensified.
We’re not done.
Not even close.
There are more people to impact, more leaders to raise up, more mountains to climb, and more God-assignments waiting on the other side of our obedience.
We want to grow from 80 employees to 500.
We want to change generations.
We want to build legacies, not just businesses.
And we will—one surrendered step at a time.
Pause. Appreciate. Don’t Curse the Blessing.
When you finally arrive at yesterday’s prayer, don’t rush past it.
Don’t drown out the celebration with noise.
Don’t curse the blessing just because the fruit is heavy.
Instead, organize your anointing so you can withstand the increase.
There is treasure in the pause.
Holiness in the quiet.
Gratitude in the reflection.
Take a moment today and say:
“God, thank You for trusting me with this. I remember when this was just a prayer.”
Because when you honor the journey, God strengthens you for the next one.
