When the Enemy Tries to Silence You

When the Enemy Tries to Silence You

When the Attacks Feel Personal

There are moments in life and leadership when the attacks feel so personal that they shake you to your core. Not just attacks on your business, your reputation, or your success, but attacks aimed directly at your character, your calling, and your courage.

The enemy knows he cannot destroy what God has ordained, so often he tries to discredit it instead. He whispers lies. He stirs confusion. He raises accusations. He attempts to intimidate and silence the very people God has called to lead boldly.

Fear Is Not Your Inheritance

But scripture reminds us clearly in 2 Timothy 1:7:

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self discipline.”

Fear is not your inheritance. Silence is not your assignment. Intimidation is not your identity.

God has equipped you with POWER. LOVE. And a SOUND MIND.

When the Battle Feels Exhausting

There are some of you reading this today who are exhausted from fighting battles you never asked for. Maybe false narratives have been spoken about you. Maybe someone has tried to tear down your business, your leadership, or your integrity. Maybe you have found yourself questioning whether it is even worth continuing.

But hear me clearly.

You do not back down when the enemy rises up against what God has called you to build.

You Fight Differently

You fight differently.

You fight with truth.

You fight with prayer.

You fight with unity.

You fight with unwavering faith that God sees what others do not.

When Purpose Makes You a Target

Recently, I got off the phone with a dear friend in the childcare industry. For her privacy, I will never mention her name, but many of you have walked similar roads. The enemy is attempting to publicly destroy her business and attack one of her employees through false accusations and lies. And watching it unfold reminded me how ruthless spiritual warfare can become when someone is making a real impact.

This woman is a trailblazer. She has poured herself into serving children, families, and her community in powerful ways. She has built something meaningful. She has led with vision. And because of that, she became a target.

The enemy hates influence that changes lives.

Especially influence rooted in purpose.

The Body of Christ Must Rise Up

But this is where the body of Christ must rise up.

As women, as leaders, as sisters in faith, we cannot sit silently while people are spiritually attacked and emotionally crushed. We must become women who gather together in prayer and declare that darkness does not get the final word.

There Is Power in Unity

Matthew 18:18 says:

“Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

There is power when believers stand together in unity.

There is power when praying women refuse to bow to intimidation.

There is power when leaders say, “No more. We will not allow lies to destroy what God has built.”

Refuse to Shrink Back

Some of you need to look fear directly in the eyes today and say:

“I will not be silent.
I am not afraid of you.
God did not call me to shrink back.
He called me to stand.”

Why the Enemy Wants You Isolated

The enemy wants leaders isolated because isolation weakens people emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. But unity strengthens us. Community strengthens us. Prayer strengthens us.

And sometimes the most powerful thing you can do for another woman is simply stand beside her while she fights.

The Weight Childcare Owners Carry

Childcare owners carry enormous weight. You protect children. You lead teams. You support families. You solve problems constantly. And when accusations or attacks come, it can feel devastating because your work is deeply personal. You do not just run businesses, you carry responsibility for human lives every single day.

Protect Truth and Lead Courageously

That is why we must fiercely protect truth.

That is why we must go to bat for our teams when we know they are innocent.

That is why we must refuse to let fear dictate our response.

I have always believed this deeply, if you are part of my circle, my team, or my family, and I know your heart and integrity, I will fight for you. I will pray for you. I will stand beside you. I will go to the ends of the earth to protect those who are being wrongly accused or unfairly attacked.

Not because it is easy.

But because it is right.

Recognize the Spiritual Battle

Some of you need to stop seeing your battle as merely physical. There are spiritual forces behind division, slander, confusion, fear, and destruction. The enemy wants leaders discouraged enough to quit. He wants businesses destroyed. He wants people emotionally exhausted.

But greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

Rise Up With Holy Fire

So today, rise up with holy fire.

Pray boldly.

Lead courageously.

Stand firmly.

Protect fiercely.

Love deeply.

And refuse to allow fear to silence the assignment God placed on your life.

Call to Action:
If you are a childcare owner, leader, or woman in business walking through a difficult season, know this, you are not alone. Stay rooted in truth, surround yourself with praying people, and never allow fear to silence what God has called you to build.
